Wild nature at
the end of the world
Estancia Las Loicas is located near Cabo San Pablo, on the north coast of Tierra del Fuego. This is Argentina’s southernmost province and the final stretch of Patagonia before the sea gives way to Antarctica.
Tierra del Fuego is a land of contrasts: sea and steppe, wind and forest, silence and endurance. Here, nature leads and time slows. The north of the island was shaped by the great sheep estancias of the early 20th century, a time of pioneering ambition, isolation, and deep transformation. Before that, the land was home to the Selk’nam people, whose presence can still be felt in the open plains and the rhythm of the wind.
Our farm lies where ocean and forest meet, with the shipwreck Desdémona in view and the lighthouse of Cabo San Pablo just over the hill. It’s a place of stillness and movement, of roots and stories. This is where our love for the sea and the forest come together.
Tierra del Fuego is Argentina’s southernmost province, the far edge of Patagonia and the gateway to Antarctica. Separated from the South American mainland by the Strait of Magellan, the island is shared between Argentina and Chile and still feels incredibly remote in many places.
Estancia Las Loicas is located near Cabo San Pablo, on one of the most remote coastlines of Tierra del Fuego.
